Number 1

Jewellery 2014 - 2015

Numéro 1. Marc Deloche’s high-end jewellery, first collection.

8 unique pieces inspired by the 4 elements

With Numéro 1, his first high-end jewelry collection, Marc Deloche starts a new chapter of the story of his creation, and presents us with the very essence of his style. “For this first story, I chose representational pieces, for animals are not only a classic in French jewelry, but also add something protective and endearing. Besides, I’ve always loved fluid, convertible jewelry, whose gentle clinking announces the appearance of a woman. That is how I arranged this collection”, the creator reveals.
Yellow, pink or white gold, adorned with tanzanites, sapphires, emeralds and dia- monds... Numéro 1 consists of eight unique designs under the sign of the four elements.

Fire

Two bold, strong pieces highlight the dragon’s strength and power. Under its pink gold body encrusted with brilliant diamonds, a secret ring hides in its core a chimera with yellow and white gold scales. The other piece is a dazzling necklace in which a slide of carnelian, garnet and quartz pearls escapes from the jaws of a fabulous monster and shines like lava flowing out of a volcano.

Water

Symbol of grace, the seahorse is mirrored on two exquisite white gold ear pendants encrusted with more than 7 carats of electrifying ultraviolet tanzanites. In a magnified version, Marc Deloche has included this aquatic animal to a spectacular onyx cuff encrusted with rails of sapphires and diamonds.

Air

A sensual ball ring of grey gold borrows its plump plumage from the owl – a bringer of luck. Its feathers are made of diamonds; its kind and watchful eyes, of yellow sapphires. The proportions of this geometrical torque are just as perfect, and the white, naked metal, sometimes lit by the sparkle of minuscule brilliants, holds captive an owl with eyes of black diamonds.

Earth

Symbol of the rising sun in Ancient Egypt, the scarab beetle takes on a yellow gold color for Marc Deloche, who matches it with a luxurious curtain of emerald pearls, to create massive earrings that rustle with every move. They match with a sculpture ring depicting a larger-than-life stag beetle, its golden body illuminated by a green sillimanite and strangely embellishing the whole finger.
